Phigaia El Blanco is a dry white IGT wine produced in the province of Treviso by Serafini and Vidotto from Sauvignon and Pinot Blanc grapes. The name is a declaration of intent: El Blanco is a charismatic, sunny wine capable of creating a festive atmosphere of joy and sharing. The combination of two noble grape varieties gives El Blanco an intriguing personality: the Sauvignon gives an intense aromatic character and the Pinot Blanc elegance and finesse.

  • Color It is crystal clear and shiny, with a straw-green hue, from which bright sunlight glows. On the move it reveals agility and consistency.
  • Bouquet The first nose reveals elegant citrus and vegetable scents, with notes reminiscent of pink grapefruit, mandarin orange, citron and green apple, mint and tomato leaf.
Then there is a decisive opening on minerality of rock and flint, which is progressively joined by sweet nuances of vanilla.
  • Taste The taste is decidedly full and enveloping.
At first, citrus freshness and balanced sapidity, then slowly the wine expands, highlighting a solid structure and well sculpted in enveloping roundness, turning in slow progression towards warm perceptions. The long taste-olfactory persistence fades into ample citrus notes, aromatic herbs and brackish nuances.

Ideal on crudités of shellfish and molluscs, risotto with lagoon prawns, trenette al pesto, fried prawns and squid, asparagus au gratin.
But it is also a wonderful companion for the best sweet-tasting raw hams: from S. Daniele to Parma, from Sauris to Montagnana.
