Venetian Amarone Classico Riserva "Leone Zardini" Pietro Zardini is a wine which starts from Valpolicella to reach the top of the national critics of the sector. Wide and majestic, it already gives emotions, but in the future it will guarantee an important evolution and an enviable estate. It is striking for its great completeness of taste on the palate and for its generous and vast, excellently developed olfactory spectrum.

Riserva "Leone Zardini" Pietro Zardini is an Amarone Classico born from a blend where we find the typical vines of the territory, Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and Croatina. These varieties grow in mainly light colored soils, rich in detritus, calcareous marl and basalt. The manual harvest is careful in choosing the best bunches cultivated in the high hills, and then the grapes are dried for 4-5 months in special rooms of the winery. The fermentation of the must is done traditionally, with a maceration on skins which lasts 6-8 weeks. The wine is then transferred in large oak casks and tonneaux for a total of 48 months. Before being released on the market, the Riserva undergoes a further period of aging in glass.
