The Italian enchanting landscape in the Tuscia: the beauty of nature surrounds you as far as the eye can see, the wonderful view on the Mediterranan, the vineyards laying on the hills, and just behind, on the horizon, the mountains. It is clear that such a touching ground gives birth to nothing but special things.
The union between emotion and beauty is the real secret behind anything precious. Famous for its clay soil, this ground is indeed the Mather of excellent wines, and it couldn’t be different for “Habemus”, a wine born from the juicy grapes that grew up on these hills, under the warmth of the sun, smoothed by Tyrrhenian breezes that ensures a dry and mild weather. Habemus has been conceived to be a wine with a strong character, without compromises, since the selection of a blend of three different grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan.
Grenache e Carignan are grown in the whole Mediterranean basin and have spread to Italy through sheep farming from Spain, France and the Islands, together with the traditional cultivation goblet - here innovated. That is why nowadays they are considered autochthon varieties of grape. Syrah is diffused on the whole peninsula and completes the blend, following the most typical scheme of Cotes du Rhône. The grapes are organized on a high stump density: eleven thousand per hectare. The low yield of grapes - twenty five quintals per hectare - and the twenty month - aging inside new oak Burgundy barrels, guarantee the excellence of Habemus.
Completely eco-friendly and sustainable, our wine cellar concretely features a series of solutions dedicated to energy conservation: green roofs, ventilated covering and walls and an innovative temperature control systems none fossil fuel used but geothermic energy, in order to have a low energy need completely self-producedwith an innovative photovoltaic system.
Only thanks to these intuitions and a series of advantageous astral conjunctions, such a rich wine can be created, and it immediately surprises, characterized by an amazing dynamic olfactory sensation that sweeps from the cinchona to the dark fruits in syrup, with sweetand pervasive notes of withering that suavely recall the savour of wood. A taste that opens up to the typical spiciness of varietal features that - together with smooth tannins reach the more aromatic and unbridled notes of the Mediterranean Garrigue. So much pulp and extract in the mouth are supported by a natural wrapping saltinessand a fresh vertical acidity that make Habemus a wine highly and immediately enjoyable and contemporaneously great for aging.
All sensations that make you feel the pleasure to be exactly there, surrounded by the hills, under the sunlight, breathing the salty tang perfume of the Mediterranean Sea in the air and savouring the pulpy grapes just plucked. This is possible because Habemus is a completely natural wine, with the gift of getting all the carefulness and the treatments of a farm - San Giovenale - that produces solely this wine as a sincere expression of the richness and complexity of this uncontaminated territory.
